Nobody finished the business update. They’ll finish a five‑minute conversation.

We take the documents your team is supposed to read, from onboarding decks to strategy updates and internal comms, and turn them into a podcast episode where two hosts talk it through. You send the material. We send back finished audio.

How it works

Three steps. You only handle the first.

1

You send the material

A 40-page onboarding PDF, a strategy deck, a policy update or a folder of half-finished slides. Send it as it is. No summary, prep call or written brief required.

2

We build the episode

We read the material properly and identify what your team needs to understand. Then we write the conversation: one asks the questions your team would ask, and the other answers with the detail. We produce, edit and master the episode.

3

Your team hits play

A polished episode of around ten minutes, plus a transcript, ready to publish to your LMS, intranet or Slack channel. If anything needs correcting, we fix it.

James Humphries
Founder, Across the Table

About the Founder

I’m James Humphries, a final-year Business Administration student at Nova Southeastern University. During my summer internship at Pelican Capital, I worked on practical AI projects across investment and portfolio-company workflows. It showed me how AI can solve real business problems when it is built around the way people actually work.

Alongside the internship, I helped produce AI-generated training content from internal company material. The most effective format was a conversation between two consistent hosts: one asking the questions employees would ask, and the other explaining the detail.

That became the idea for Across the Table. Companies already have the knowledge; the challenge is getting people to engage with it. I have turned the process into a repeatable service that takes internal material and returns a polished podcast episode, ready to share.

If your team has material people need to understand, I would be glad to show you what it could sound like.

“I watched people who would usually skim a PDF listen to the conversation from start to finish. That is the whole idea.”

The dynamic

The same two voices, in every episode, for every client.

Here's what that sounds like.

A brief example.

An episode isn’t a document read aloud in two voices. It’s curiosity pulling expertise into the open. That’s why people listen to the end.

What teams use it for

Onboarding 01

Before the first meeting in week one, new starters understand how the company works: who to ask, what matters and what the handbook leaves out.

Leadership updates 02

The strategy your leadership team spent three months building, explained in the time it takes to walk to the station. Including the trade-offs that are harder to communicate.

Internal comms 03

Policy changes, new processes and benefits. The updates people tend to skim, delivered in a format they finish.

Training & development 04

Product knowledge, systems, compliance and role-specific guidance, explained clearly and available whenever employees need a refresher.

Something else in mind? If your team needs to understand it, we can turn it into an episode.
